There comes a time in every band’s life when you have to ask yourself that one big question: where do we want to go as a band? The same goes for Walking On Rivers. It is not because they are lacking popularity – it is quite the contrary: they have played countless festivals and have toured all over Germany throughout the past few years, gaining new fans with every show and enjoying the reputation of a tireless and always infectious indie-folk band. Still, Walking On Rivers had to face a few changes to their line-up as some of the former members had left the band to start families or take up jobs after university. Nothing out of the ordinary – but for David Laudage (songwriter, singer, multi instrumentalist), Martin Kreuzer (drums and much more) and Borsti Pieper (multi instrumentalist, co-production) these changes offered the opportunity for an honest reality check. The answer to the question was crystal clear and the band ended up finding themselves in a euphoric and very creative songwriting phase. Stay tuned!
